Royal Redeemer Membership

Royal Redeemer Lutheran Church

welcome membersWhat does Membership at Royal Redeemer mean?

Membership means you are ready to call Royal Redeemer your spiritual home.  Like any home, your decision signifies that you are ready for a deeper commitment, to share yourself and receive from others in Christian community.  Membership means you are ready to say, "I belong here!"

Our Member course consists of three two-hour classes, one serve event, and the public confession of your commitment to the Church, the LCMS, and Royal Redeemer.  The Member Course is offered in the spring and fall each year.  For class dates, contact the church office 513-779-4740 or This email address is being protected from spambots. Class #1: Know & Grow - Spiritual types and exploring differences in spiritual practices, practices for spiritual growth, history and direction of Royal Redeemer.

Class #2: Connect & Serve - Instruction and discussion designed to help you identify and use the unique gifts you bring to the world and to Royal Redeemer, to grow in God's kingdom and grow God's kingdom.

Class #3: The Lutheran Faith - An overview of our beliefs as they are derived from the doctrines of the Lutheran Church Missouri Synod.  This class is required for everyone new to the Lutheran faith.

Serve Event -  Royal Redeemer opporates from the ground level with CGS (Connect-Grow-Serve) Communities.  CGS Communities are groups of Christians who Connect with each other, Grow in their relationship with the Lord, and Serve others. Moving beyond corporate worship to belong to one or more of these communities is essential to healthy spiritual growth.  As such, we plan one serve event for each Member Course that all participants are encouraged to attend.

Personal Style and Abilities Assessment - This inventory will help to find your strengths and passions to help you discern the ministry opportunities where you might serve with energy and joy.  The assessment is used during the Connect and Serve class.  To take the assessment online, please click HERE.

A Public Pledge  When you have completed the above classes and are ready to join, you will be formally received into membership on Membership Weekend, which occurs in the fall and spring of each year.

FAQs:
Does taking the membership classes obligate me to join?
No.  The classes provide an opportunity to find out more about the Lutheran faith and this congregation.
